The heated bathroom flooring provided a cozy touch, perfect for unwinding after a day out. The indoor pool offered a refreshing escape, ideal for relaxing with family.
On arrival, the lodge was uncomfortably cold, taking hours to heat up, which was frustrating, especially with young kids. Be prepared for hefty electricity charges. the use of meters caught many guests off guard. The upstairs had a lingering fish odor, and the carpets needed a serious upgrade, making the entire place feel less inviting.

Stunning Autumn Location with Great Amenities
I had a lovely stay in a two-bedroom apartment, fully equipped with everything you need, including quality kitchenware and luxurious bedding. The tranquil surroundings, combined with the beautiful autumn colors, made it a perfect getaway. I really appreciated the accessibility to various walking and cycling routes. The on-site restaurant served a delightful haddock and chips that was probably the best I've ever had. The only downside was the concern over heating costs, as it felt a bit chilly during the night.
